"Subtract"

Client: Personal Project
Description: Submission for Illustration Friday website, for the topic of "Subtract."

"Subtract" was another tricky word. Especially if you are going to side step math related images, or... um... guillotines or something.

When looking at this, don't think too hard about the Principles of Invisible Paint. I'm sure many of you would argue that, if Invisible Paint were a reality, it probably wouldn't cause people to look like they are breaking apart like Play Doh™. But, you have to admit it would be cool if it did. So, buy some of Dr. Beacon's Amazing Invisible Paint now!

Thanks everyone!

McBeefy, I actually have a couple of different methods I use. For some pictures (like "Breezy" and "Legendary"), I had draw them, scan them, then basically trace them in Illustrator. For this one and "Intricate," I hand draw them, scan them, then colored them in Photoshop.

I don't know which amazes me more..your mind, or your wonderful way to put it on paper through art.
